Hello there, I am Salomie du Toit, founder of the 

My father in law was admitted to Blymoedig Clinic in the Kameeldrift area (Pta region, South Africa). www.blymoemoedig.co.za

 

He has Alzheimer's disease and parkinsons. He is currently under 24 hour care by very caring, trained and warm staff at the clinic.

I was very touched by the people living there, as it is a clinic for elderly people with psychiatric disorders as well as physical disabilities.

I felt that these people are in need of some (extra) tlc, as the staff already give so much on a daily basis.

Our volunteers consist of a few Professional Makeup artists, hair stylists and beauticians that will be coming together to go visit the residents at the clinic to give them some beauty treatments, manis, pedis, hair and makeup, twice a month.

We feel Everybody deserves to feel beautiful and important and hopefully our volunteers will grow in numbers and then we will be able to reach out to more homes.

My dream is for more                  to be born..

So... Wake up and Makeup!
